The event will be held in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 19, 2012, and I really hope that you’ll save the date and attend. Grooby And ThriXXX Launch The New Grooby3D!

It’s Friday and with the weekend almost in sight, I thought you may have a few minutes of free time to have a little fun with Grooby3D! I’ve already been playing around with it for a while and personally, I think it is pretty cool. Anyway, here is a press release from Grooby / ThriXXX about the site launch:

Shemale Yum Booth at Adultcon Makes History!

A few posts ago we helped make the announcement that Shemale Yum was hosting a booth at Adultcon. Well, the event has come and gone but it sounds like the booth was a tremendous success and we’d like to congratulate all the lovely ladies who showed up to help promote the genre! Grooby Productions made history with their Shemale Yum booth at Adultcon in Los Angeles last weekend. This was the first time t-girls have exhibited at the tradeshow and it was a huge success. Domino Presley, Morgan Bailey, Amy Daly, Khloe Hart, Michelle Austin, Sunshyne Monroe, Jenna Rachels, Britney Markham and Angelina Torres worked the booth and charmed the crowd by go-go dancing and talking to all the attendees who visited their booth. The crowds couldn’t get enough of Morgan Bailey and Domino Presley—the girls were literally mobbed at and away from the booth. Additionally, they educated the public on the shemale community, which led to curiosity and tons of photos and DVDs sold.

“I know the event was a definitely success,” says Owner, Steven Grooby. “The girls educated the public about shemales and potentially our sites will reach a whole new audience. We handed out company postcards and virtually none were left. Plus, the girls were photographed with a vast array of fans, including couples and women. The Tranny Awards Nominations Are In!!!

Los Angeles, Grooby Productions announces that the nominations for the Third Annual Tranny Awards have been published and judging and public voting has begun.

The Tranny Awards has grown substantially and attracted sponsorship from all the major transgender adult companies, such as Shemale Strokers, Shemale Profit, SMC Revenue, Gamma Entertainment and Grooby. Categories include “Best Solo Model”, “Best Hardcore Model”, “Best DVD Performer”, “Best Non-TS Performer” and “Best Up & Cummer” as well as website and DVD categories, with $1000 cash prizes going to the winners in the model categories and stunning crystal trophies for all. The award show will also include the “Lifetime Achievement Awards” which can go to models or producers.

For the first time, some categories can be voted on by fans. Grooby CEO, “Grooby Steven” stated; “After last years award show we asked how it could be improved and the overall feedback was that the fans wanted to get more involved, so all the website model categories are available as well as a new “Wildcard” Award which is for the most popular model, with no other criteria. ” The other change this year is that the awards winners will be announced at the show, to keep the anticipation and excitement up until the last minute.

Changes for this Year:

* Now the fans vote! No more judges, this will be a fan based competition. See The Official Tranny Awards Site for further details.
* New category added : Up & Cummer.
* Winners to be announced AT the award show.

At the time of this writing, this years event and categories are being sponsored by Grooby Productions, Krissy4u, and Tranny Access with other sponsors being added and announced in the following weeks!

At the minimum there will be at least $8000 of awards up for grabs … but before we can vote on who the winners will be, we need the nominations!

Anybody can add a nomination – you may nominate for as many people/releases in any category (separate by a comma) but don’t spam over and over, as it will have no bearing on it.

Rules:
1. Model or Performer categories had to appear in at least one production that was filmed in 2010.
2. Websites must have been active for minimum 4 months in 2010.
3. Best DVD and Best DVD Director must be for a DVD released in 2010.
